Entries

Entries: Online Entries only accepted. CCI5*-L and CCI4*-S - Only complete entries with full payment will be acceptedregardless of nationality. A total of 90 horses will be accepted to include any horses specifically nominated by the USEF SelectionCommittee. Priority given to CCI5*-L entries In the case of oversubscription, the following process will be used: Riders will be limited to 2 (two) horses and will include any horses specifically nominated by the USEF Selection Committee. If there is still an oversubscription, then the riders with the most points on the FEI World Eventing Athlete Rankings list as of February 28th will be accepted. All other qualified entries will be placed on the waitlist. Those on the waitlist will be accepted in order as and when there are withdrawals. The waitlist will expire on April 24th at 4 p.m. CCI5*-L: Competitors may enter any number of qualified horses but only ride at the most three (3) horses and must declare them in order of preference byMarch 28th (closing date). In case of excessive entries, the OC will reduce the number ofhorses per rider to two (2) as noted above. “Double Entries”are permitted only in the CCI5*-L. CCI4*-S: Competitors may enter any number of qualified horses but only ride at most two (2) horses and must declare them in order of preference by March 28th (closing date). If riders have horses in both the CCI5*-L and the CCI4*-S, they may not ride more than 2 in each level. Horses entered in the CCI5*-L may NOT change divisions at any time either from the CCI5*to the CCI4* unless permission is granted by the OC. The CCI4*-S will be scheduled around the existing, provisional CCI5* schedule. Horses entered in the CCI5* may NOT change divisions at any time from CCI5* to the CCI4* unless permission is granted by the OC and only if entries warrant. CERTIFICATE OF VETERINARY INSPECTION: (CVI, formerly termed Health Certificate: WITHIN 30 DAYS MUST ACCOMPANY EACH HORSE. HORSES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY VALID FEI PASSPORT. HORSES MUST BE ON GROUNDS BY 8pm Monday, April 25th. *KY regulations require that CVI include 'all tests that have been conducted as well as all vaccinations including vaccination date and type of vaccine used.' For competition horses or horses accompanying competition horses that have an FEI Passport, reference the passport number on the CVI. This will provide the required vaccination information. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. Stabling/Veterinarian

$300/stall (competing/non-competing horse or tack), from noon Monday April 24th to 9 am May 1st. Permanent 11' x 11' stalls on grounds. Stall doors/initial bedding only (5 bags of shavings or 1 bale of straw and MATS) provided for competing horses only. Indicate preference of shavings or straw on Stabling form. Feed/Hay/Bedding/Mats available for purchase at www.deverinc.com. Please note: thedate & approximate time of arrival MUST be indicated on stabling form. Please contact the Director of Competition if you need to arrive prior to Monday, April 24. ALL arrival times must be sent by using this form: https://www.cognitoforms.com/EEI12/_2023LRK3DESTABLEACCESSFORM All CCI5* and CCI4*competition horses will be stabled in the secure stabling enclosure. All horses MUST be examined BEFORE entering stables (Examination Upon Arrival - FEI Rules). No horses may enter stabling enclosure without prior exam. Arrivals after 6 pm or before 8 am, or any horses without proper papers, will be stabled in holding stalls, provided by management, until examined and approved. FEI rules allow only the following persons connected with the horse access to Competition Stables: Rider; a maximum of two (2) Owners at any one time; Trainer (as listed on Entry); One (1) Groom/horse; Veterinarian accompanying competitor. Only Official Event Farrier allowed in Competition Stables. Wristbands issued by Competition Organizer required for access to Competition Stables at all times. Horses will be tested in a Random or Targeted manner agreed by the GJ, VD and Testing Veterinarian. Reference FEI Vet Regulations, 2023 Chapter VII article 1067. Article 1069 Selection of Horses 1. Three methods for the selection of Horses may be used: a) Obligatory sampling: During Olympic Games and World Equestrian Games/FEI World Championships for Seniors, Horses must be sampled as follows: i. in all Final Competitions for Individuals, the first 3 placed Horses; and ii. in all Team Competitions, 1 Horse from each of the first 3 placed Teams. b) Targeted sampling: When a specific reason or circumstances warrants that a particular Horse be selected for sampling. Horses are to be selected for target testing by the VC/VD and/or Testing Veterinarian in cooperation with the GJ. The reason for sampling the Horse must be listed in the online Veterinary Report or online Testing Veterinarians Report. c) Random and/or results-based sampling: Horses may be randomly selected for sampling at any time, as agreed by the GJ, VC/VD and Testing Veterinarian in accordance with the FEI Testing Manual. Horses may also be selected based on their placings, as agreed by the GJ, VC/VD and Testing Veterinarian in accordance with the FEI Testing Manual.

Owners cannot be guaranteed benefits or recognition unless they are listed on the FEI Passport by NO LATER than MARCH 28, 2023. NO advanced cross-country obstacles at the Kentucky Horse Park may be schooled without permission of Equestrian Events, Inc. Dogs: MUST be leashed or they will be immediately impounded by an Animal Control Officer. Dogs are not permitted in hospitality tents, stadium or grandstands.
