Horse Vaccination Reminder: Per USEF rules we require all horses to have proof of Influenza and Equine Herpes vaccination within 6 months of show to be the on grounds. You may be required to show proof of vaccination. REMINDER: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Starter- approx. 1200 m @ 300mpm, max fence height 24".I,P,T courses, average, with some hills and forest trails. N, BN, Starter: easy to average, with tracks mostly in open fields. Starter:water optional, no banks, no ditch.Aerated footing in all phases. Turf footingat all levels;sanded galloping tracks through forest. Terrain: Hills, fields, forests. Awards

Awards through 3rd place, Ribbons through 8th place. 1st & 2nd place team awards. Prizes sponosred in part by Gallops Saddlery, Kerrits, and Toklat Originals Area VII Adult Team Challenge, co-sponsored by Area VII Adult Riders. All amateurs may compete without restriction; competitors without an amateur card are eligible if they have not ridden two levels higher in the past 2 years. Prizes to all first place teams, ribbons to third.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Limited temp covered stalls. Covered stalls $200, uncovered 12x12 corrals $50, available from Wed. pm to Monday am. No arrivals before Wednesday afternoon without permission from organizer (email preferred). Stall doors & initial straw bedding only provided. Additional bedding: straw $6/bale, shavings $10/bale. Extra bedding available for purchase from secretary at show- those wanting large quantities please alert secretary in advance. Haul-in fee $60. Contact secretary for tack stalls (if available), no stabling available for non competing horses. Other Information

Area VII Adult Riders ATC (Adult Team Challenge), offered at BN, N, T, P levels. Great prizes. Regular team formats- 3-4 riders of the same level, best 3 scores to count. $10 per rider, open to all riders 21 & over who have not completed more than one level higher than the level they are registering to ride within the past 2 years.Teams may be formed before event or any time before start of dressage. Cross country course closed June 7. Prior to June 7 weather permitting,by appointment only ([email protected]). Starter test info: meant to be an introduction to eventing for new horses or riders.Dressage on grass.Show jumping will be in enclosed sand arena, with traditional, inviting fences. Height limit 2'0", no combinations or spooky fillers. Cross countryjumps are inviting,mostly logs, with three or four non-log fences (roll top, table, coop). DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES. Nosmoking in competition and stabling area. EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
