Entries

Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. ALL Foreign competitors including Canada and Mexico must have a valid USEA membership and horse registration to compete. Double entries are not accepted. Complete entries include payment in full, complete entry form and both signatures' pages, copy of current negative Coggins, copy of vaccination record showing flu/rhino vaccine received within 6 months of competition. Entries not paid in full will be charged a late fee after the closing date. If overbooked, management reserves the right to limit the number of entries per rider. Wait list: after entry limit is reached, additional entries will be placed on a wait list. Only entries paid in full are placed on the wait list. Once scheduling is completed, substitutions will be made from the wait list by division only. The wait list expires on Sunday, June 18 at 9 pm. $50 per item for any paperwork taken at the show. Sign up for TIP awards at secretary's stand. All correspondence from the secretary will be via e-mail. REFUNDS: Before C.D.- Entry less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from existing waiting list. NO REFUNDS AFTER 9 pm, June 21. Cross-Country: Cross-Country: P-3000 m @ 520 mpm.T-2500 m @ 450 mpm.N-2100 m@ 400 mpm.BN-1800 m @ 350 mpm. Intro-1200-1300 m at 275 mpm. Intro is 10-12 obstacles not to exceed 2' 3". All distances are approximate. All courses are open rolling terrain and great for galloping. All courses except Starter will contain banks, ditches, and water appropriate to levels. Water complex for all levels except Starter and two natural stream crossings. Cross-country course never open for schooling except for scheduled schooling days.

8 ribbons per division. TIP awards to 6th place per level for all USEA Recognized Divisions. Make sure TIP number is included with entry and double check with Secretary ([email protected]).

COMPETITORS PLEASE NOTE: The LHPC Summer Horse Trials are at OATLANDS N O T MORVEN PARK! WATER: There will be no water truck available! Competitors bring your own water for horses. FOOD:Food vendor on grounds. SCHOOLING: Cross-country course never open for schooling except for scheduled schooling days: Schooling day scheduled for June 27 with rain date of June 28 from 8 am to 3 pm. $50 per horse/rider pair (credit cards accepted on grounds). PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR EV114 Dress 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions, riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801): b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted.
