Fees

Event Fees Directory: Draw checks to: Apple Knoll Farm. Entry: Per Division: $225 BN, N, T (does not include fees); Starter: $195 (USEA fees do not apply). Stabling: Limited$65 per night on grounds. One bag of bedding included in stall fee. $45 fee if stall left unclean. Refunds: Before C.D -Less $25 office fee; After C.D. no refund. Competition cancellation- No refund. Withdrawals and changes must be made in writing via email. Do not leave a voice mail. No refunds on stabling after closing date. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30) is not subject to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition, to any rider who does not start the dressage test. This fee does not apply to starter entries.

Entries

Electronic entries are strongly encouraged andappreciated. Enter online at www.evententries.com or use Xentry. Online entries must be paid before accepted. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable fee. $35 fee for bounced checks. Include printed, legible and current email address on entry. All correspondence from secretary will be via email. Starter is exempt from USEA membership/horse registration and the USEA Starter/D&M Fee does not apply. Refunds:Before C.D.- Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/Stabling-No refund. Competition cancellation-No refund. Scratches/Changes must be in writing via mail, fax, email only. A fee will be charged for any changes made to entry: $30/change fee, $50 changes after Noon on Tuesday, October 3rd. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged an additional $50 late fee. ANY entry post marked after Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $50 Late fee applies. Additionally, any electronic or faxed entry made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETE within 5 days after Closing or will be also considered a late entry and charged the $50 Late fee. Late fee policy will be strictly adhered to!Any entry which is incomplete as of 6:00 pm Sunday October 1stwill be charged an additional $20 PER MISSING ITEM. This includes birth date, signature pages, coggins, horse or rider USEA numbers. Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org. Limited Stabling: On grounds stabling $65/ per night. Hay and shavings available for purchase from the barn office. $45 fee for stalls left unclean. Other Information

Dressage and Show Jumping in outdoor sand arenas. Warm up on sand outside and the indoor on GGT footing. Entry limit 135 per day. Levels may be divided/ combined as entries warrant. Please state preference under eligible section. Provide experience and birthdate on entry. Dogs must be leased. $50 fine for unleashed dogs. No motorized vehicles on XC. Non-competing horses must purchase a number ($35) and sign a release to be on grounds. Parking is limited. Please share trailers when possible. Water is not available on grounds. Please bring water. All persons arriving on AKF property for the horse trials are considered part of the competition and must go online www.appleknoll.com to fill out a release form. EV114 Dress 1. Protective Headgear.a. At all levels of eventing competition, from beginner novice through advanced, at Federation Endorsed competitions and recognized competitions ,riders must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) : b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear which passes or surpasses ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) / SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. Harness must be secured and properly fitted. "Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith" No overnight camping.
