CCI4*-L: Dressage will be run in reverse order of the leaders from the CCI4*-S Series *for athletes with more than one horse in the Final, the horse with the most points in the series will be classified in the reverse order placing for Dressage. The athlete’s other horses will be placed in the schedule at the organizer’s discretion. Combinations that have not participated in the Series will be placed in the schedule in the first third of the draw for Dressage at the organizer’s discretion. Cross-Country will be run in reverse order of Dressage leaders. Show Jumping will run in reverse order of the cumulative score of both Dressage and Cross-Country.

US Equestrian Open CCI4*-L Eligibility: Open to all FEI Eventing Athletes who: • Meet their national and FEI minimum eligibility requirements to compete at the CCI4*-L level • Have completed a Series qualifier**, and • Have obtained an MER. Opt-in is not required if eligibility is met. **Final Buy-In: The Series Final may be entered without the pre-requisite CCI4*-S Series qualifier for a fee (charged in addition to the competition entry fees) of $5,000, which will be added to the overall prize money offering. The entry must be declared by the FEI Definite Entry Date and be paid in full prior to the start of competition. Changes to Entry:All changes to entry must be made in writing before closing date, any change to entry stats/stabling/post entries after closing date, a processing fee will be charged according to information below. Absolutely no telephone withdrawals, changes or stabling requests will be accepted. A fee will becharged for any changes made to entry: $30/change; $50/change after September 30. Any paperwork received after Oct 6 (postmarked or delivered) add $50 fee. Incomplete entries may be waitlisted. A $50 charge will be attached to all entries missing paperwork: signature pages, coggins, vaccination letter, payment, USEA/USEF #'s, or other information if not received by 5 pm on Monday, October 6.
Wait List:After entry limit is reached, additional entries are placed on the wait list in the order they are received. Only entries paid in full are placed on the waitlist. Once scheduling is completed, substitutions will be made from the wait list by division only. The wait list expires on Friday, October 4 at 5pm.
Refunds: Before CD - entry & stabling less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD -no refund, unless there is a waitlist and an entry can be found to fill the spot - then refund less $25 office fee. No refunds (entry or stabling)after Friday, October 3. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fee ($30) is not subjected to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.Competition cancellation - no refund.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.
Foreign Participants at USEF-Licensed Events:Beginning September 1, 2023, all foreign participants will be required to join USEF as Competing Members. Those individuals 18 years of age and older must take SafeSport Training to be eligible to participate in USEF national competitions. For those participating in FEI events only, this requirement does not apply.

Morven Park is delighted to host the 2025 USEF/USEA Developing Horse National Championships, featuring a CCIYH2*-S for 6-year-olds and a CCIYH3*-S for 7-year-olds.
CCI4*-S: $20,000 in prize money generously provided by Ms. Jacqueline B. Mars.
CCI4*-L, CCIYH3*-S, CCIYH2*-S, 10 ribbons per division. All other divisions, prizes for 1st through 3rd, 8 ribbons per division.

Specialty Awards
Mars American Bred Talent Trophy:
Celebrating the dedication and passion of American breeders and the US high-performance talent pipeline, the Mars American Bred Talent Trophy is awarded to the American-bred horse to place highest in the 4* level at the Morven Park International & Fall Horse Trials.
Qualifications: limited to horses bred and born in the United States, no breed registry limitations. Qualified horses will be determined by the information provided on their FEI Database profile/FEI passport.
Award Process: Trophy will be awarded to the highest-placed American-bred horse at the 4*-L level. If there are no horses qualified in the 4*-L division, the trophy will be awarded to the highest-placed American-bred horse at the 4*-S level. If there are no qualified horses in either division, the trophy will not be awarded for that calendar year.
Includes $10,000 for top place, $5,000 for reserve.
Sparrow’s Nio Award provided by Von Sacksen Eventing:Awarded to the 3* competitive pair demonstrating an incredible partnership throughout the weekend of competition. Winner to be selected by the 3* Ground Jury.

1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
