STABLING is limited and fills up quickly!! If you plan to stable for this event, SIGN UP EARLY. Box fans are allowed but must be heavy duty and grounded (blue plugs). ALL stabling opens 12:00 PM Wednesday. ALL arrivals prior to Wednesdayat noon must contact the show office @[email protected] to make arrangements - no exceptions! FEI Stabling: FEI Arrival exams 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday.Additional arrival exams 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Thursday, 7:00 - 09:00 AM, 12:00 to 12:30 PM Friday. If you cannot arrive during scheduled Vet Examination times, you MUST contact the show office via [email protected] to make specific arrangements. FEI horses will not be allowed into stabling before completing a Vet Arrival Examination. FEI Stabling Procedures: Due to new FEI stabling regulations, all horses in FEI stabling must be FEI-registered. Do not ask to group FEI horses with national horses or companion horses unless they are also in the FEI database. All horses in FEI stabling, regardless of competition status, must follow current FEI regulations, including but not limited to: (1) Take temperature twice daily for three days prior to arrival on grounds, and record on FEI HorseApp. (2) Complete a Vet Arrival Examination before entering stabling. (3) Take temperature twice daily while on grounds and record on FEI HorseApp. (4) Report departure of horse from grounds immediately at the show office so horse can be checked out as required. FEI Ship-Ins: All FEI competitors must follow FEI-temperature recording procedures. Upon arrival, inform vet of ship-in status and ask for instructions on how to check horse in and out of show grounds. FEI and National Grooms: Designate a separate groom for FEI horses if possible. Avoid sharing tack and other equipment between national and FEI horses. Never bring a national horse to FEI stabling, or vice versa. You will need to bring 120v 20-amp adaptor that fits a standard 120v 20-amp receptacle. 3 satellite hook ups available on xc schooling course and across the street. Muck Deposit: Pay Muck Deposit on Event Entries! Muck deposits MUST be in by Sunday, June 22, to avoid $25 Missing Items fee. Stalls must be stripped and swept clean to have deposit returned. OTHER: No unauthorized motorized vehicles on course. Only Official vehicles allowed. Bikes/motorized bikes allowed on course (outside of track) until XC day. Concessions available on grounds. There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time during the weekend and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. - Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. Maryland International Equestrian Foundation (MIEF): For 2026, MIEF will award four scholarships/competition grants that are equivalent to $1,000 to riders competing at the 1*2*3*4*levels at the Maryland International (Use one application per horse/level you are applying for). The scholarships will assist by covering entry fees, stabling, as well as rider and groom/grounds person accommodations. The mission of MIEF is to promote grass roots to FEI level eventing!
