Directions

From Westminster, MD and points North: Follow Rte 140 East from Westminster or West from Reisterstown to Rte 91 (Gamber Road) in Finksburg. Take Rte 91 South toward Gamber. Turn left at the first light onto Deer Park Road and proceed 1 mile to Louisville Road. Turn right onto Louisville Road and proceed approximately 1 mile. Full Moon Farm is on the right. Turn into the driveway by the Full Moon Farm sign. From Interstate I-70: Take I-70 East from Frederick or West from Baltimore to Rte 32 North. Proceed approximately 8 miles North on Rte 32 where you will cross over Liberty Reservoir and go up a long hill. Turn right onto Bollinger Mill Road. Go ONLY 50 yards and turn left onto Louisville Road. Follow Louisville Road approximately 0.8 miles. Full Moon Farm is on the left. Turn into the driveway by the Full Moon Farm sign. From Baltimore: From I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) take I-795 North to Rte 140 West (Exit (9B). Turn left onto Rte 91 (Gamber Road). Turn left at the first light onto Deer Park Road and proceed 1 mile to Louisville Road. Turn right onto Louisville Road and proceed approximately 1 mile. Full Moon Farm is on the right. Tentative Schedule

Aloha Horse Trials will run Sunday, 6/28. (No YEH classes.) YEH Qualifier will run Tuesday, 6/30. (No HT/CT/TOC classes.) Sat:Competitor's Party when XC Course opens (3pm). Sun:Dressage starting around 7:30 am. Show Jumping around 9am. XC around 9:15am. We will have multiple dressage arenas running at the same time. SJ for Pre-Starter and SJ & XC for Poles will run in their own arenas at the same time as Starter and above. ***Please note: All riders will have published XC times being approx. 5-10 min after their SJ ride is complete; we expect riders to go directly from SJ to XC warm-up. For SJ & XC: Riders will be taken in numerical order when possible, but may also be taken in order of arrival. Riders with multiple horses: Please check email for communications from Secretary regarding your timing.

Regular Rate: For entries completed and paid in full during the regular registration period. Post Closing Date Rate: For post-entries completed and paid in full after the Closing Date. Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org. All horses must wear their pinny number during all 3 phases(either on bridle or saddle pad).Riders must bringtheir own pinny holders and bridle tags/saddle pad numbers. We will provide paper inserts for pinny holders. We do not provide bridle tags. Communicationwill be done via email. Riders are responsible for including a legible and current email address on their entry forms.

Awards

For HT, CT, & YEH: Prize(s) and 8 ribbons per judged division. (Judged division = minimum of 3 starters.) Small prizes or ribbons may be awarded for HC riders at the event's discretion. No prizes for Dressage TOC.

Cross-Country

The best footing in Area 2, thanks to our Aggravator and dedicated farm owner. Cross-country course open for schooling, but will be closed the week prior to the event, if not sooner. APPROXIMATE COURSE INFO: M -2,600m. M/T & T- 2400m. T/N&N -2200m. N/BN & BN -1600m. BN/S & S -1200m; water option. S/Intro & Intro -600m; untimed, no water. Intro/Poles & Poles -500m; untimed, no water. All courses are feature rolling terrain. All courses are timed and feature water, unless otherwise noted. Speeds may be adjusted by the TD/Ground Jury depending on course conditions.See website for additional information as the show date approaches.

Other Information

Dogs must be leashed. Unleashed dogs will incur a $50 fine. Food truck & vendor info will be posted on the website. (If none listed, please expect limited food & water on grounds.) Maryland and USEA COVID-19 rules will be in effect. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. All riders MUST wear ASTM/SEI approved riding helmets with fastened attached harness at all times when mounted. Horses must wear their competition number while on show grounds. Riders must wear their number during the XC phase; riders are encouraged to wear their number during the SJ phase and in warm-up areas. All riders MUST wear body protection vests during the cross country phase. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
