Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation Continues Partnership with the USEA

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. Through this sponsorship, the Grayson-Jockey Club will serve as an official USEA Education Partner and a Contributing Level Sponsor of the 2025 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention.
The USEA Annual Meeting & Convention will take place on Dec. 11-14 in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, the Grayson-Jockey Club will provide educational content across multiple platforms and events that will support and enrich the learning experience for USEA members and the wider eventing community.
The Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation is the leading source of private funding for equine research that benefits all breeds of horses. They are committed to the advancement of scientifically validated research projects that enhance equine health and well-being. With a legacy of funding over 400 projects at 45 universities since 1983, the Grayson-Jockey Club’s mission is to promote the health and soundness of all horses by funding innovative research with long-term impact.
As part of the agreement, the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation will contribute quarterly educational articles for publication on the USEA website and social media, with content also linked in the USEA eNewsletter. They will work with the USEA to mutually develop and promote additional educational opportunities, including a one-hour educational session at the 2025 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention, where they will update the USEA membership on recent research developments. The Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation session is currently slotted on Friday, Dec. 12 at 11:00 a.m. and will be open for all USEA members in attendance.
“We are once again proud to partner with the U.S. Eventing Association as an educational partner, and we applaud the U.S. Eventing membership and are thankful for its sponsorship of Grayson projects for the past seven years,” said Jamie Haydon, president of Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. “Eventing demonstrates the athleticism, bravery, and endurance of so many different breeds of horses, and they all benefit on some level from the research funded by Grayson.”
Rob Burk, CEO of the USEA shared his enthusiasm for the ongoing partnership, saying, “The Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation has been a steadfast supporter of the USEA’s educational mission, and we are thrilled to continue this valuable relationship. Their commitment to equine health and soundness directly supports our riders, horses, and the broader sport community.”
