How to Use Horse Ice Boots
To use the ARMA SubZero Ice Boots, activate the gel by chilling the boots in a freezer for 2-4 hours. Once the gel is activated, the boots can be used immediately or stored in a cool bag if using out and about.
How to Put Ice Boots on a Horse
When putting the ice boots on your horse, position the boots and then fasten the straps with even pressure, while ensuring not to secure them too tightly. The ARMA SubZero Ice Boots each contain 32 gel cushions which conform to the leg shape, and these make them suitable for both front & hind legs.
How Long Should You Leave Ice Boots on a Horse?
The ARMA SubZero Ice Boots can be used for 10-20 minutes and should be removed immediately after this treatment time. The ice boots are suitable for daily use after exercise and can be used up to 2-3 times a day if treating for an injury.
